Spec Document

In this document I will try to present some of the steps I have taken in preparation to creating a five page
website for a friends business. I am building this site for a new computer repair business and the purpose of this
website is publicity and with hopes to get the business off of its feet.

With the content I have been given I decided on a few key design features. The clients preferred colors are blue
and yellow, navy and a rather bright yellow contrast well so I decided to use those. The clients preference on decorative
or professional styling was professional, therefore I decided to make the site nice looking but straight to the point and I
avoided any animated GIFs and or elaborated photos. My personal preference for navigation of a website is a horizontal
row of buttons, I prefer this because the buttons/links usually give you a highlight of what the sight contains before you
even touch your scroll bar. The client wanted my help creating a logo, and my idea for this
was a broken monitor with the name of the business wrapped around it.
I intend for this site to contain a page for the personal information/education of the computer repair-men of this business.
I also will create a page for a list of services they can offer, a link page for helpful online stores and tech tip sites, and
I want a page for the contact information of this business. When more content is provided any changes or adjustments needed
to be made will be according to what needs to be added.

I am happy to be making this web site for the client and hope it is productive and useful for both myself and the client.
I have and idea for the look and feel of a small business' web site and I hope my perspective applies to the client and his audience as well.
